Meet Margaret Brady Wilkerson.
Cheatham County Native. Advocate for Families. Trusted Legal Guide.
I am a Cheatham County native, born and raised in the same neighborhoods where many of my clients live today. I know what it feels like to struggle, to worry about providing for your family, and to work hard without always having an advocate in your corner.
Growing up in circumstances shaped by financial hardship gave me a deep understanding of the challenges many families in Cheatham County face. I do not take this work lightly. I choose it because I know these struggles firsthand, and I want you and your family to have an advocate.
My Professional Journey
I earned my bachelors in Environmental Science from MTSU and my law degree from Nashville School of Law. I have practiced in Tennessee for over 15 years, focusing on areas that deeply impact families and individuals, including:
Probate & Estate Administration
Estate Planning
Family & Juvenile Law
General Sessions Matters
I am committed to providing honest, practical guidance - not legal jargon. My goal is always to help you understand the process and make decisions that protect your future.
Community and Leadership
I serve the community that raised me. I understand the local courts, the local families, and the real-life concerns of people in our county. I am involved in many local organizations and take pride in giving back to the community that helped shape who I am today. I serve as a board member of The Eden Center for Families, The Quintenn Clark Foundation, and The Ashland City Downtown Merchants Association. I am a former board member of the Cheatham County Chamber of Commerce. I am a member of Kiwanis and the Cheatham County Recovery Court.
Family
I live in Cheatham County with my husband, Michael, and my teenager, Joseph. I have two adult children - Robert, who lives in Dickson with his wife, Kailah, and their two children, Elijah and Emmeline, and Marina, who lives in the Petway community with her long time partner, Ashton, and their two dogs and three cats. My stepson, Joshua, lives in the Pond Creek community with his family.
